Sweet Potato Casserole

Sweet Potato Casserole From TheLinkBride (Stacey)

2 cans sweet potatoes or yams
3/4 stick butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 T vanilla
3/4 c. milk
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Mini marshmallows (to cover top of pan)

Beat in a mixer – yams, 3/4 stick butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 T vanilla, 3/4 cup milk.  Then add 3 eggs, beat again.

Spread in 9×13 baking dish.  Mix together 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2/3 c. flour, 2/3 c.  melted butter, 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans for topping.  Top with mini marshmallows.  Spread over potato mixture and bake at 350 for approx. 1 hour.

It can boil over so it is a good idea to keep a pan under it for any spills.
